Bravo to teens who cleaned up vandalism

| November 15, 2008 8:00 PM

Bravo.

I got a little choked up when I saw the kids cleaning Bonner General Hospital's  Healing Garden tea house entrance on the front page of the Daily Bee on Saturday.

This is a proud moment for all of us. This act validates all of the reasons why we teach our kids the value of good citizenship.

To the businesses that have been targeted — here is an example of why you donate to every child or organization that enter your door. These kids get it. This is the behavior that we choose to celebrate and embrace.

To all of the kids who have been the beneficiary of their generosity and kindness, be diligent and keep your eyes and ears open and help stop these senseless acts of destruction.

To the parents, remind your children that these businesses are the people who drive our small town. They need your support.
