Girly Claws offering quality nail care

SANDPOINT - Even in a volatile economy where every penny counts, many local women still want quality nail care.
Those women will be glad to know that Sandpoint's newest nail salon, Girly Claws, has opened with the mission of offering the least-expensive, highest-quality service in the area, according to owner Briana Critchell.
Critchell has been a nail technician for three years, but it wasn't until recently that she decided to start her own business.
"I've learned as much as I could from the other women I've worked with in salons. Now I just want to do my own thing and offer affordable nail care because the beauty industry is really expensive," Critchell said.
Girly Claws offers French manicures in both acrylic and gel, as well as a number of natural, colored and repair options. Service costs range from $10 for a nail polish change to $55 for a gel French manicure set.
Located in suite five of the Riverside Building on Superior Street, Critchell takes appointments Monday through Saturday, with limited availability Monday through Wednesday.
