Mary Jane Wolfe, 73

Mary Jane Wolfe, 73, passed away in Sagle, Idaho, on Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22, in Coffelt's Funeral Chapel.

Mary Jane was born in Sandpoint, Idaho, on April 19, 1934, the daughter of Bert and Gladys Searfus. She grew up in the Wrenco area and graduated from Sandpoint High School in 1953.

On Sept. 8, 1957 she married Jim Wolfe in Sandpoint, Idaho.

She worked as a secretary/bookkeeper for casualty insurance companies locally. She was associated with The Farmin Insurance Agency, Sandpoint Insurance, McGovern Insurance, and the Dickinson Insurance Company, retiring in 1994.

Mary Jane was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Order of Eastern Star Martha Chapter No. 34, and for 13 years she volunteered at the Bonner County Historical Museum. She enjoyed her home, painting, gardening, sewing, and quilting.

She is survived her husband, Jim Wolfe of Sagle; a daughter, Judi Rosa of Spokane, Wash.; a grandson, Nicholas Kelly of Coupeville, Wash.; her sister, Jean Pike of Bayview; and her brother, Frank Searfus of DuPont, Wash.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Alice, and her brother Larry.
