Any assistance should come with conditions

Sure, loan the big three automakers the money they have requested but put a monetary ceiling of all management income of $250,000 annually including stock options and bonuses. Then ground all of those corporate jets until the loans have been repaid with interest.

Maybe  they then can produce vehicles that Americans want especially for big guys like myself that have comfort, leg and head room, all the luxury options, selling at a fair price and get more than 30 mph.

And how about our elected representatives to Congress  who can serve only one term and then can retire at  $15,000 per month, yes per month, tax free for life. Let's give them on Social Security like the rest of us more than 65 years olds currently receive. Then we would possibly get truly qualified people in office that really want the job to make a difference and help the American people.
