Bulldogs claim 5-0 soccer win

RATHDRUM - Matt Miller scored in the 43rd minute and Daniel Anderson scored twice for Sandpoint, which blew open a two-goal lead with a three-goal second half to beat Lakeland 5-0 Thursday night.

The Bulldogs (13-1, 7-1 IEL) outshot the Hawks 25-4 and pushed the pace in the second half. Shawnn Carlson recorded his 9th shutout of the year, and Anderson now has 14 goals on the season. Ben Murray and Adam Crossingham also added goals in the win.

Sandpoint hosts Lewiston today at 4 p.m. at War Memorial Field.
