John Marvin Rosenberry

| October 4, 2008 9:00 PM

John Marvin Rosenberry was born on April 27, 1951 to Ralph and Margaret Rosenberry in Spokane, Wash. He was 57 when he left us on Sept. 27, 2008, in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Upon graduation from Saint George's School, John and his band, The Last Call of Shiloh, set out on a wondrous adventure across the United States performing gospel music along the way. When he returned home, John enrolled in Eastern Washington State College where he studied the arts.

John was dedicated to his two favorite passions, music of all genres and the timber industry, most recently employed by Northwest Cedar.

He was a gentle soul, an innovator and a devoted family member.

John was preceded in death by his brother, Bruce Rosenberry. His son and daughter, Bill Rosenberry and Heather Rosenberry; their mother, Susan, survive John; as well as his brothers, Ralph Rosenberry Jr., James Rosenberry and Mark Rosenberry; his sisters, Johanna Rosenberry-Lane and Martha Rosenberry; his granddaughter, Olivia Joi Gutierrez-Mintzer; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

The void that is left by his passing will be felt for a long time by his extensive network of friends and family.

An announcement about a celebration of John's life, including his music, will be forthcoming via Coffelt Funeral Chapel at www.coffeltfuneral.com. John's music can be heard on www.ourstage.com,  search, John Rosenberry.
