PRIEST RIVER - Just after lunchtime, a man yielding a handgun, held up White Cross Pharmacy for an undetermined amount of drugs, according to Priest River Police Chief Ray Roberts.

The handgun was displayed after an employee questioned the suspect. The man is described as a white male in his early 20s, approximately 5-foot, 9-inches and weighing about 150 pounds. He had light brown hair with a mustache and goatee and had a small scar under his right eye.

The suspect was wearing a light gray knit cap, light gray pull over sweatshirt with a long center pocked toward the bottom that opens at both ends, and light blue jeans.

"White Cross employees handled the situation very well," Robert said.

Bonner County Sheriff's Office assisted Priest River police in responding to the call and combing the area for witnesses.

While the interior of the store was closed during the investigation, White Cross were able to keep the drive-through open.
