Erroneous report really takes the cake

| October 8, 2008 9:00 PM

Typographical errors, incorrect dates, and incomplete articles have plagued the Bee for years. The erroneous report of Northwest Handmade closing, made by the publisher, really took the cake. Shame on you for not checking your facts.

Irresponsible reporting, especially during these unstable economic times, should not be tolerated. As Dan Mimmack said, small business owners need the support of the local media. And, I'd like to point out that the same article talked about "rumors"  - the last thing local businesses, and consumers, in our small town need is the perpetuation of untrue rumors. Rumors have no place in a "news" publication.
