Elgar will fight for timber jobs

| October 18, 2008 9:00 PM

My heart goes out to the 200 employees of JD Lumber who lost their jobs due to the closing of the mill.  It seems that Riley Creek Lumber bought JD and then closed it to eliminate the competition. A simple google search on Idaho Campaign Finance Reports shows that Riley Creek has been a substantial contribitor to all of Eric Anderson's congressional campaigns. Shame on you, Eric, for not fighting to keep the mill open. After all, JD has contributed to your campaign in the past also.

Steve Elgar will fight for Idaho jobs, while working to improve schools, health care, and water quality of Priest and Pend Oreille lakes. Do your homework North Idaho — voting for one party is a thing of the past — vote for the best candidate.
