Obama is the smart pick on November 4

| October 18, 2008 9:00 PM

When I read "Obama will say anything" by Mr. Johnson, I laughed so hard I nearly wet myself. I'd better be careful though, if we end up with another Republican in the White House I won't be able to afford my Depends undergarments. Or much else, including health insurance, since McCain's plan will only hurt women, and make them vulnerable to insurance companies, which will no longer be held to the stringent rules that keep them from denying us coverage.

And while Palin is a good ole gal with snazzy $4,000 glasses just like they all wear up there in Alaska, I'd be real worried if she became president. While calling herself a Christian, she is down in the Bible belt stirring her followers into a lynch mob mentality. She has lost the cuteness factor and proven that "she" will say anything, unless directly asked a question.

Sarah, who has read everything and flown over some places in a plane, thinks feminism has something to do with chopping wood, and can make big decisions without a wink makes about as much sense as my cat, the one that fell on its head. My other cats are pretty smart.

Why can't we have smart presidents? Why is being intelligent and well-spoken now some kind of foreign dimension of reality? A smart guy may know some other smart guys and they could with hard work put some accountability, intellect, and integrity back in Washington. Obama is the smart choice, you betcha.
