Deciding who to vote for is a matter of definition

| October 20, 2008 9:00 PM

Deciding who to vote for (your future) is as simple as deciding who/what you are.

Conservative, adj.

1. "Disposed to conserve existing conditions and institutions," such as living under the unchanging U.S. Constitution, strictly applied by a Supreme Court, in a republic, as our founding fathers did/would.

2. "Pertaining to or characteristic of conservative," in Judeo-Christian moral values of living by the golden rule, pro-life and pro-family values of one female mother and one male father.

3. "Having the tendency to conserve," everything. The traditional family, morality/truth, finance/value, limited government, freedom, opportunity, responsibility, environment and use of our resources."

Liberal, adj.

1. "Based on or advocating liberalism," where citizens are liberal with everything, morality/truth, money/taxes and lifestyles as relates to family/marriage, illustrated by "gay" stickmen having sex on our courthouse lawn.

2. "Favorable to progress/reform in religious/political affairs," like reforming "one nation under God" to "under" worthless paper money, administered by corrupt politicians, elected through lying. Liberal with voting rights for illegals/criminals, and changing the U.S. Constitution to a "living document," interpreted by European socialistic standards.

3. "Favorable with maximum individual freedom," like the "freedom" to terminate their children's life, even though all freedom is based on the "inalienable right to life."

4. "Favoring/permitting freedom of action." Really? Like "favoring" energy independence by "permitting actions" of drilling for oil offshore, in the wilderness, or "permitting" new refineries or nuclear plants? Not.

5. Liberals are "especially free of or not bound by traditional ideas or values," on which the American nation and culture are established.
