Anderson is effective leader for North Idaho

| October 22, 2008 9:00 PM

As an officer and an owner of JD Lumber, I can assure Bill McInerney that nothing Eric Anderson or any other state legislator could have done would have stopped the sale of our saw mill to Riley Creek. This was simply a good business decision on our part to sell, and on Riley Creek's part to purchase.

If Steve Elgar wants to help timber jobs in northern Idaho, he can lobby the U.S. Forest ServiceĀ  to release more timber sales and stop running in fear of radical environmentalists. Steve might also consider going against other Democrats in D.C. who actively lobbied Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to increase sub-prime lending, the same Democrats who looked the other way when accounting irregularities surfaced at those same organizations.

Eric Anderson has done a great job for our district, is proactive when it comes to protecting our lakes and rivers, and works to increase funding for our schools. He needs to stay in office, as he is a very effective legislator in Boise. We are proud to support him for reelection.
