SANDPOINT - The Panida's Little Theater big fund drive has officially cleared the half-way point, with new donations providing another sizable step toward the $50,000 goal.

Raising the funds needed for the final annual payment is the board's top priority. At this point, $26,845 has been raised in this year's fund drive. Donors who have contributed during the past week include: Chris and Kathy Chambers; John and Susan-Bates Harbuck; Helen and Skip Newton in memory of their dear friend, Louanne Daarstad; Jean Gerth; Barbara Botsch; Steve Neuder and Elizabeth Foster; Steve and Cilla Garvan; Steve and Diana Leake; Genevieve Campbell; Thomas and Dorothy Modafferi, and Jean Maryborn.

"Thank you very much for all the support you've given us over the years and especially this year to make this final payment," said Marcella Nelson, pledge drive fundraising coordinator. "However, we need your continued support with donations to make it possible for us to meet our goal. With ownership, the community can be very proud of the Little Theater and the annex building adjacent to the Panida."

To make a tax-exempt contribution, call the Panida at 255-7801, come by the theater office on First Avenue, or mail a donation to: Panida Theater, P.O. Box 1981, Sandpoint, Idaho 83864.
