Pediatric Dental Center offers free day of dental care

| September 8, 2008 9:00 PM

SANDPOINT - A visit to the dentist is not generally something a child looks forward to. And with medical costs rising, the trip usually isn't too fun for parents either.

In an effort to make things a bit easier on everyone, Dr. John Ukich will host a day of free dentistry Sept. 13 at his new Sandpoint clinic, Pediatric Dental Center of North Idaho.

Ukich and his staff will perform exams, teeth cleaning and minor dental work for children in kindergarten through fifth grade from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Ukich, who already shares a thriving practice in Coeur d'Alene with his father, hopes to see as many as 100 children during the community outreach day.

The dental center, located at 1310 Ponderosa Drive, Suite B, is stocked with fun ways for kids to stay busy while waiting for an appointment, including an assortment of video games.

Children will be seen on a first-come, first-serve basis, so be sure to arrive early.
