Barbara Jean Spray

Barbara Jean Spray passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2008.

She was born July 19, 1927.

Barbara was a woman who loved her children, grandchildren and her friends more then she loved herself.

Barb or Barbie as many know her was born in Alameda, Calif. She married Bert C. Spray in 1963, moving to Careywood in 1967. She made a home for her family from the city to the country.

Barbara loved her 32 years as a member of the "The Square Grannies" bowling team.

She was also a longtime member of TOPS and enjoyed her Tuesdays with her wonderful friends each week. We who loved and knew Barbara will miss her deeply. Her positive attitude and  desire for harmony we're her greatest attributes.

She is survived by Greg (Linda), Mark (Colleen), Randy (Debra) Williams. Scott, Wendy (Ed Gimple), Jerry (Patty), Chuck (Debbie) Spray. Delbert and James (Da) Loughlin; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Bert Spray; her parents, Weldon S. and Florence Cochrane; and one brother. Weldon Cochrane.

Please join her family and friends in celebration of her life on Saturday, Sept. 13, starting around noon at her home in Careywood (2132 Sunset Road) We are looking forward to sharing our love for Barbara with you.
