Bulldogs sweep Moscow

MOSCOW - Piper Wahlin swatted 11 kills, Kaiti Lunde posted four blocks, Koko James had 15 set assists and senior libero Abby Helander tallied 21 digs to lead Sandpoint to a 25-16, 25-23, 25-17 win over Moscow in Inland Empire League volleyball action Thursday night in Moscow.

The Bulldogs (3-1, 2-1 IEL) bounced back well from a tough five-game loss to Coeur d'Alene earlier in the week, notching a decisive win over their chief 4A competition for state.

Sandpoint is at the Walla Walla Invitational today.
