Chamber seeks award nominations

The public is invited to nominate individuals and businesses for the 2008 Chamber Choice Awards.

"This is an opportunity to allow the chamber to recognize excellence in businesses and the community," said executive director Amy Little.  "We are accepting nominations from the community until Sept. 30, and our membership will cast their votes in October to determine the winners," she said.  The winners will be announced at the Chamber Choice Awards, set for Nov. 15.   

The Citizen of the Year is the most notable recognition to be given.  Additionally, there are 11 other distinguished awards including Nonprofit of the Year, Green Award, Employee of the Year, Employer of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Innovation in Education, Tourism Partner of the Year, Young Professional of the Year, and Youth Citizen of the Year.  These awards showcase the values of the Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce.
