Clark Fork's Adam Denham 8th in cross country meet

Clark Fork runner Adam Denham finished 8th out of a field of more than 100 runners Saturday in cross country action in Spokane. Denham, who's the lone male runner on the Clark Fork team, clocked a 16:50. Danny Pfeifer was the top Sandpoint finisher at 39th, Tim Householter was 48th and Matt Sisson 67th.

Sandpoint hosts the Sandpoint Invitational this Saturday at Dover Bay. 11 area teams will be competing in varsity and JV action. There will also be a host of kids, junior high and adult races, so come out and watch some great cross country action on one of the more scenic courses in the region.

n 9 a.m. - Kid's Fun Run 400 meters. (open to all kids through the 6th grade). Ribbons for all participants.

n 9:15 - Jr. High Girls (1.6 miles).

n 9:45 - Jr. High Boys. (1.6 miles).

n 10:15 - Varsity Girls.

n 10:45 - Varsity Boys.

n 11:15 - JV Girls.

n noon - JV Boys.

n 12:40 - 5K Citizens Race (open to all ages). Shirts for top male and female.
