Ronald Lee Goodsell, 48

Ronald Lee Goodsell, 48, passed away on Sunday, March 29, at his  home in Columbia Falls, Mont.

Ron was born on May 18, 1960, in Kalispell, Mont., to James and Patricia (McAllister) Goodsell. He was raised in Montana and Idaho, graduating from Sandpoint High School in 1979. He married Stephanie West in Columbia Falls; they were married for 15 years.

Ron worked as a logger, and as a heavy equipment operator for most of his life. He was a member of the volunteer fire department.

He loved hunting and camping, and had an extreme love for animals.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jim; his grandparents; and two uncles, JR and Dan. He is survived by his girlfriend, Donna Edwards; his mother, Pat Goodsell; his children, Justin and Aleisha Goodsell; his grandparents, W.N. and Virginia McAllister, and Andy and Laura Goodsell; and numerous aunts, uncle and cousins.

A celebration of Ron’s life will be held at 1 p.m.. Friday, April 3, 2009, at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home with the Rev. Drew Buckner officiating.
