Lakeside Salon pampers clients with luxury

SANDPOINT — Even in an economic recession, people need to treat themselves to a little bit of luxury.

That’s the message the three owners of A Lakeside Salon, a new venture established to provide affordable body, nail and hair care, want to send to the community’s residents.

The salon, which has been open since last October, is the brainchild of Theresa Dickenson, Renee Rink and Barbara Raikes, all of whom have years of experience in their fields of work.

Dickenson, an esthetician, specializes in waxing, exfoliating and detoxifying body wraps, as well as “raindrop therapy.” Raikes is a well-established nail technician, offering manicures, pedicures in her Jacuzzi throne and a variety of coloring. Hair stylist Rink offers complete service for men, women and children, including coloring, weaves and perms.

The trio is offering a number of specials, including deals for first-time customers and 50 percent discount for any men who are up for the challenge of getting a pedicure.
