SANDPOINT — Seeking out a health care professional can be an intimidating process, but Sandpoint’s Michelle Anderson wants to take the sting out of the search with her new facility, Pend Oreille Health Care.

Anderson, a family nurse practitioner with a degree from Duke University, began Pend Oreille Health Care with the goal of offering patients superior care in a professional, nurturing environment, while also addressing prevention and wellness.

“We pride ourselves on being open minded to working with patients seeking alternative or a combination of alternative and western-based medicine,” she said.

With eight years experience as a nurse practitioner, Anderson has practiced internal medicine, cardiology, and general family medicine. She is excited to form a partnership with her patients while offering community-oriented, cost-effective healthcare.

Seeking non-emergency medical attention can often takes weeks, which Anderson will address by working a flexible schedule that will allow for same-day appointments and routine follow ups.

Pend Oreille Health Care is located at 710 Superior St. For more information or to make an appointment, call 265-2225.
