Gleason, volunteers deserve our support

| April 4, 2009 9:00 PM

May 14-17, the sounds of ’50s music will once again be heard in Sandpoint. This will be the 24th year that our community will be blessed to celebrate “Lost in the ’50s”.

Thanks to Carolyn Gleason and her tireless volunteers we will once again have the privilege of singing along with the “Legends” at the Panida on Thursday night, watching the cars at the cruise and dancing at the fairgrounds on Friday. We will all be able to check out the classic cars and enjoy the fun downtown on Saturday and then head out to the fairgrounds for one more night at the hop. On Sunday, come on out for the Asprin Rally Run. Lost in the ’50s weekend is what really gets our summer started.

More help is always needed, show your support by donating you time and dollars. If you would be interested in flagging for the friday night Car Cruise phone me 290-1323, or call 265-LOST. Get in the spirit. Help keep this great community activity alive and be sure to say Thanks to Carolyn and her crew when you see them.
