Controversial dump site now heading to P & Z

| April 8, 2009 9:00 PM

Hello again, We would like to thank everyone who supported us in trying to keep Bonner County from putting a dump site across the road from us in the 1200 block of Peninsula Road.

We still have no answers for you or for ourselves as it now has to go to the planning and zoning commission. We did the best as we could with your help.

We would like to also thank the businesses Big Moose, Bev’s Furnishing, Napa, Bodertown Feed, Zippy’s, River Mountain Realty and Lou’s for allowing us to leave our letter of protest at their businesses and helping us by telling their customers what it was all about.

Thank you to all of you fro taking the time to attend the meeting at Priest River Junior High School on March 10. We were very pleased with the great turnout.

It is a times like this that we know how fortunate we are to be living in a small town. Almost like the good old days when everyone cared about each other and was always there to give a helping had n matter what the need was for.

We will keep trying and we will not forget what you have done for us.
