Helander, Wahlin team up for a tennis victory

POST FALLS — Abby Helander and Piper Wahlin, both of whom led the Sandpoint volleyball team for the last two years, teamed up on a different court Friday, playing doubles together for the first time and registering a straight set win to lead the Sandpoint tennis team at Post Falls.

Mikka Nostdahl and Ben Hardy each registered solid wins in boys singles, to account for the three Bulldog wins. Sandpoint doesn’t play again until traveling to Lewiston next Saturday, and will finally get kto practice and catch up on court time with the other Inland Empire League schools.
