SHS baseball, softball teams fall to Lake City

COEUR d’ALENE — Jason Pattis struck out seven in six innings and also drove in three runs to lead the Timberwolves (7-6, 3-4 IEL) to a 12-0 win over Sandpoint Thursday in IEL softball at Lake City High School.

Cole Tonnemacher went 3 fof 4 with an RBI for the Bulldogs (6-12, 1-5), who fell behind by five runs after two innings and were never able to recover.

Sandpoint hosts Lakeland on Tuesday at War Memorial Field.

n Bulldogs softball team falls to Timberwolves

COEUR d’ALENE — Jessica Ross hit a two-run bomb and Jamie Hall also homered in a nine-run first inning and Lake City (12-1, 6-0 IEL) went on to a 12-0 Inland Empire League victory over the Sandpoint Bulldogs (0-9, 0-4 IEL) on Thursday.

Molly Givens and Kym DaVault had Sandpoint’s two hits.
