Insinuations not the best way to get the ball rolling

Amen to Cindy Aase’s suggestion that we all treat one another with respect. We would all benefit from reinserting the “civil” in “civil discourse.”
I will suggest, however, that insinuating that people are either racial bigots or irrational zealots when they have different political opinions from your own, might not be the best way to get the ball rolling.
