SANDPOINT — Leadership that inspires has maximum impact.

It’s also the focus of a full-day leadership event that will be presented live via Simulcat on May 8 at the FCC auditorium, located at 201 N. Division in Sandpoint. It is the second year the event has been held in the community.

“Leadership that Inspires” is a one-day leadership event with renowned authors, speakers, business professionals and world leaders. This years’ program will host former British prime minister Tony Blair, golf pro Jack Nicklaus, along with business leadership expert Dr. John Maxwell.

Participants also will jear Liz Murray’s  inspiring life story “From Homeless to Harvard,” listen to Walt Disney’s president of world wide operations Al Weiss, TNT broadcasting host Ernie Johnson, and Harvard Business School professor Bill George on leadership and leadership development. Linda Kaplan Taylor, president of one of America’s fastest growing, billion dollar, advertising agencies and Kevin Caroll, author and former Nike Creative along with Mark Sanborn will encourage and motivate.

Last year’s attendees raved about the quality of the program, its impact on their personal and professional lives as well as the venue and excellent food.

It’s a fast-paced event that will motivate, encourage and inspire community leaders, business leaders, managers and line workers, home makers and students young and old alike.

Tickets are $59, which includes lunch. Group discounts and scholarships are available. Also, CEU credits are available.
