Pair lead SHS at Lake City Invite

COEUR d’ALENE — Dan Sommerfield and Colton Story each shot in the low 80s Thursday to lead the Bulldogs golf team at the Lake City Invitational.

“We show flashes, but putting it together for 18 holes is another story,” said Bulldogs coach Mike Keough as his team prepared to chase Moscow on Tuesday at districts. “We have three days to figure it out.”

The boys team finished sixth out of eight teams.

Jesse Webster Merwin shot a 93, and Sandpoint Whalen a 100 to lead the girls team.
