Train's horns add to our safety, ambience

| August 3, 2009 9:00 PM

On July 28, you printed a letter from Len Golding, concerning train horns, and the gentleman’s frustration at having them blow those horns early in the morning.

I, too, live in the Bottle Bay area and hear all of the train horns that the engineers blow to warn pedestrians and vehicle drivers of the train’s arrival. The difference between my philosophy of listening to the train horns and Len’s is that I enjoy all of the whistles and horns, at any time of the day or night.

I believe that Len’s frustration can be eliminated quickly.  Move.
