Jeremy Duane Fredricksen, 32

Jeremy Duane Fredricksen, 32, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2009, in Paradise Valley, Ariz.

Born on Sept. 2, 1976, in Spokane, Wash., he was adopted by Mark and Betty Fredricksen on June 9, 1978.

Jeremy learned to ski at the age of 4 in Steamboat Springs, Colo. After moving to Sandpoint, Idaho, he spent his youth playing soccer and ski racing at Schweitzer Mountain Resort. He was a very talented, natural athlete who could play any sport. His main focus was ski racing. He qualified for the Junior Olympics at the age of 12 and continued to compete in the Junior Olympics for the next six yrs.    

In 1995, Jeremy graduated from Sandpoint High School. He attended college in Billings, Mont., where he played soccer for Montana State University.

In 2003, he moved to Delray Beach where he was a partner in Florida Premier Real Estate/Mortgage Lending Solutions. He owned and operated four halfway houses, called Serenity Now in Delray Beach, Fla.

 Jeremy golfed regularly, loved cycling and competing in several marathons throughout the country. He was dedicated to his training and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

In October 2006, Jeremy welcomed two precious twin babies, Maxwell and Olivia into his life. He was a loving father.

Jeremy relocated to Paradise Valley, Ariz., where he was starting various companies. He recently became engaged to Brenda White of Phoenix, Ariz.

Jeremy will always be remembered for his outgoing personality, his ability to make anyone laugh, his hard work and determination.

He is survived by his father, Mark Fredricksen of Sandpoint; his mother, Betty Fredricksen; his children, Maxwell and Olivia Fredricksen; a sister, Chelsea Fredrickse,  her fiancé, Alex Fuentes, and their son, Jeremiah, all of Delray Beach, Fla.; his grandmothers, Adelene Fredricksen, and Ernestine Jeanotte; his uncles, Duane (Sheila) Jeanotte, and Harold (Sharon) Jeanotte; his aunts, Loretta Jeanotte and Lori Boulanger;  godmother Karla (Cam) Sigette, Marlene (Rick) Zuehlsdorff, and Heather Fredricksen; his cousins, Derek Jeanotte, Heidi Maxwell, Jen Jeanotte, Amy Jeanotte, Justin Guzman, Jade Pederson, Cory Pederson, Zach Moen, Brandon Sigette and Kayla Sigette, Marck Zuehlsdorff, and Marnie Macauley.

On Saturday, Aug. 8, 2009, a memorial service will be held at Schweitzer Mountain Resort at 1 p.m.
