Don't wait for firms to fix damage they cause

A few of weeks ago while stuck in construction traffic on the Long Bridge, a sand and gravel truck passed us and threw a rock into our windshield. That afternoon we filled out their papers thinking they would repair it. Wrong.

If you have had the same problem don’t wait for them to call you they won’t. We received a letter saying we didn’t have the license number or the truck number and that is their policy. After talking to the vice president we had high hopes again but the man in charge of the claims said even though our claim and another seemed legitimate, there are so many claims if you don’t know the numbers too bad, we will not fix it.

We were not where we could get out of traffic and follow the truck — we were stuck on the Long Bridge. There seem to be a lot of others out there with the same problem. Maybe we are going to have to get together and bring this situation to higher authorities.

We just want our window fixed they broke it they need to step up and fix it.

If you have the had the same problem, don’t wait for them to call you they won’t.
