Conservatives long for olden days

| August 15, 2009 9:00 PM

Do we  have ourselves a dictator? Just look at what is going on around you. Obama has taken control of automobile companies, banks, Wall Street, insurance companies, and now threatens to dismantle and take control of our health system.

His rhetoric on bi-partisan cooperation to solve the countries ills has given  way to closed door meetings of his liberal base. His campaign promise of no higher taxes for the middle class now is assured to be broken.

Massive spending bills have already been passed by the democratic majority and now there is talk of a second stimulus bill that is needed, with no real plan on how to fund them. Tax revenues are down 20 percent and the spending goes on. Jobs are disappearing  and the taxing goes higher. Big business, who by the way employ people, is drawing in its horns or  leaving for friendlier environments where they can grow and profit free from Obama’s unfair tax and regulatory net. Citizens who work hard don’t want their fruits  going to those who do not .

Look, you liberals need to stop for a minute and look at what is happening. We conservatives  want to live in the same country we grew up in, and not the vision this radical Chicago politician and a band of liberal Congressman see.

You have been conned and its time to admit that you got a lot more than you voted for with Obama.

His White House takeover of the census and his plans to count illegals as citizens will give many more House seats to states like California, Arizona, Texas, and New York. These additional seats will further weight the Congress left and contribute to our  false representation in Washington.

The unending entitlement philosophy, while endearing to the masses collecting government checks, is bankrupting the treasury and dividing the populace. Intrusion by the federal  government into every facet our personal lives is steamrolling.

The damage done to our country in six months is immeasurable.
