Where have all of the protesters gone?

I’m curious. Where have all the anti-war protesters gone? It seems not that long ago that we were treated to a steady stream of Cindy Sheehan and her antics outside the Bush ranch in Texas.

But now it’s universal heal care and Cap and Trade, Cap ‘n Trade — it sounds like a brother and sister act, which in fact, it is. Between the gold mine hoax of global warming and this administration’s desire to get everyone’s DNA into a government database, there are some serious 2quetions relevant to the survival of the quaint notion that a citizen’s rights come from the creator and not the government. You know, that thing in the Constitution.

If government-dictated health care and its ugly stepsister, a “carbon tax” (known as Cap and Trade) are made into law, you can kiss this country and your freedom good-bye.

Perhaps what we need is a dose of some good old-fashioned tyranny to let us know what we are now so willingly frittering away.
