Darrus R. Irons, 53

Darrus R. Irons, 53, passed away at the Boundary Community Hospital in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, on Nov. 23, 2009, from complication of a massive stroke.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009, at 10 a.m. in the Bonners Ferry Funeral Home with interment in the Grandview Cemetery.

Darrus was born Jan. 31, 1956, in Bonners Ferry to Ernest and Mary Irons. He attended school in Boundary County.

Darrus enjoyed the outdoors and the love and company of family. He lived in Sandpoint working at Arby’s for 19 years.

He was proceeded in death by his parents. He is survived by his brothers, Ernest Jr. (Jane) of Beaumont, Texas, Delbert (Rita) of Fredericksburg, Texas, Edgar of Elko, Nev., and Kenneth (Donna) of Bonners Ferry; a sister, Sandra (Richard) Johnson of Troy, Mont.; and 17 nieces and nephews and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
