Sharon Lynne Groanvelt, 60
Sharon Lynne Groanvelt, 60, passed away in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, on Sunday Nov. 29, 2009.
Memorial services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009, in Coffelt’s Funeral Chapel. Pastor Jon Pomeroy, Sandpoint Church of God, will officiate.
Sharon was born on Aug. 23, 1949, in Gresham, Ore., the daughter of Fred and Sybil Dunn. She graduated from high school in Gresham, Ore., and married Harry Groanvelt on June 13, 1970, in Gresham.
For many years, she worked in the Multnomah County Library in Oregon, moving to Sandpoint in 1984. She has worked for the Bonner County Clerk’s Office for many years, her last day of work being Dec. 15, 2008.
Sharon was a member of the Sandpoint Church of God and was a Past Worthy Matron of Martha Chapter No. 34 O.E.S.
She enjoyed auctions, yard sales, Lost in the ’50s, and “oldies music”
She is survived by her husband, Harry Groanvelt in Coeur d’Alene; her daughter, Kathi Harding in Spokane, Wash.; her son, Jacob Groanvelt in Hayden, Idaho; four grandchildren, Cory and Debbie Harding, and Trinity and Aaliyah Groanvelt; and a brother, Ron Dunn in Vancouver, Wash.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
