Bulldog girls fall to Lewiston
LEWISTON — Sophomore Maggie Kirscher scored 12 points and senior Christina Johnson added six, but a cold-shooting first half proved costly as the Bulldog girls fell behind early and never recovered in a nonleague 72-24 loss to Lewiston Thursday night.
Senior Koko James scored two in her first action of the season as she recovers from an ankle injury.
Nicole Redd had 29 points to lead the Bengals (4-1), who build a 47-13 halftime lead.
The Sandpoint boys and girls games against West Valley on Saturday have been canceled, due to the Spokane school playing in the state championship football game.
The boys and girls host Cheney on Tuesday, with the girls tipping off at 5:45 p.m., and the boys making their season debut at 7:30 p.m.
