Oregon festival is sure to fund local proposal

I think having one here would be an excellent idea. Our local winery could make a batch of Mead and Lucky Dog could make a period ale for the events. The new floating amphitheater could be moored in the Sand Creek backwater when the lake is high and moved into the lake during the winter.

Since the article about Terry Converse and Will Shephard’s dream did not mention funding, I assume that it will be funded by the highly successful Shakespeare Festival in Ashland, Ore. The potential profits stated would easily be the basis for a very good investment on the part of the citizens of Ashland. We could use our share of the profits to buy a Jumbotron screen for Memorial Field.
