Walking is a right, driving is a privilege

How many pedestrians have to be killed in this “walking town”? In the first place, motorists are speeding on Fifth and Boyer avenues. It never ceases to amaze me, when the fall and winter months roll around, motorists become speedier and greedier. God forbid, those motorists are walking in the cold with sort-of cleared sidewalks and bad lightning.
Driving a car is not only a privilege but a social skill.
Walking is a right.
