Writer's blatant 'bribe' for vote is appalling

I found it fascinating that in his guest opinion of Dec. 6, 2009, Mr. Starr was so blatant in his offer of a bribe to Rep. Walt Minnick, D-Idaho. One might be so crass as to suggest that this is an attempt to buy the congressman’s vote on health care legislation. But I don’t suppose that sort of thing happens outside of Chicago.
