Michael James 'Knuck' Norman

Michael James “Knuck” Norman passed away on Dec. 18, 2009, after a year-long struggle from a stroke.

He is survived by his three sisters and his daughters, Susan Alvarez of California, Tammera Norman of Arizona and Teresa Robey of California; plus five grandchildren.

Michael was born in Wisconsin on May 7, 1945, and he grew up in Tucson, Ariz.

Most of his life he was a nomad, living throughout the United States.

He was a mechanic by trade but could be found working in other professions; he was a miner, and worked on oil rigs in Alaska.

For the final part of his life he lived in Priest River being a rancher. He will be missed by his family and his motorcycle family.

Sherman-Knapp Funeral Home and crematory in Priest River, Idaho, is in charge of arrangements.
