Sarah Palin protest was disrespectful

The Dec. 12 article in the Bee about a group of Democrat party members, led by chairwoman Laura Bry, who decided to make a non-political book signing into a tasteless and ugly political statement. Why would a group deny Sarah Palin the right to have a peaceful and friendly event in the town where she was born, and in the building where her father was a student and teacher? Laura Bry stated she didn’t want to be anti-Palin but it was obvious the group was there to be disrespectful and disruptive. Considering all of Sarah Palin’s quantities, one stands out, and that is class. Too bad Laura Bry and her group didn’t show any.
