I was born and raised here in Sandpoint. I value the education that I received in our small town. Along with my education, I appreciate that I was able to choose from the variety of extracurricular activities that were offered as well as the opportunity to participate in more than just the “Three R’s” during the school day.
My wife and I now have three young children of our own. It is only natural that I wish for our children and their friends to have an even better opportunity for a great educational experience. Let’s not take a step backward in our public schools.
I encourage all of my friends and family here in Sandpoint to vote “yes” for the supplemental school levy on Feb. 24.
