Cristy Lynn Crane, 50

Cristy Lynn Crane, 50, of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, died at her residence on Dec. 29, 2008. She was born in Casablanca, Morocco, on Feb. 25, 1958.

Cristy was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and came to Hawaii in 1986, settling in Kailua-Kona. She was an estate manager and mother.

Cristy was preceded in death by her father, Robert E. Carlson; and her sister, Carmen Ashburn. She is survived by her husband, Roy Crane of Kailua-Kona; a son, Joshua (Cortney) Crane of Kailua-Kona; a daughter, Heather (Carter) Yokoyama of Captain Cook; her mother, Mae Carlson of Casa Grande, Ariz.; a brother, Robert E. Carlson II of Kailua-Kona; a sister, Betty Jane (Boyce) Helmandollar of Casa Grande; two grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends are welcome at 10 a.m. Jan. 10, 2009, for memorial services at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Mamalahoa Highway. The family requests no flowers.

Arrangements are under the care of A Hui Hou Crematory & Funeral Home of West Hawaii.
