Myron Clair Cady, 76

No public services will be held for Myron Clair Cady, 76, of Coos Bay, Ore.

Cremation rites have been held at Ocean View Memory Gardens Crematory in Coos Bay. Scattering rites will be held at a later date at Pend Oreille Lake, Idaho.

Myron was born Feb. 26, 1932, in Sandpoint, Idaho, the son of Lucian Clark and Clara Anita (Hanbold) Cady. He died Dec. 20, 2008, in North Bend.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1960. Myron worked as a logger and a bartender in Sandpoint for many years, moving to Coos Bay in 2001.

He loved to fish, hunt and build birdhouses, many of which are all over various states.

Myron loved his grandchildren, knew no strangers and was loved and will be missed by all.

He is survived by his daughter, Clare "Sis" Cady and husband, Gary Ledlow; a sister, Leatrice Ferrell; a brother-in-law, Leonard Scott; five grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Red and Linda Krasselt, Nita Topping, Amanda and Ken Hill and family, Ron Warner, and all his friends at the 219.
