Spartans remain unbeaten with win over Clark Fork
PRIEST RIVER— The Spartans remain unbeaten and extended their winning streak to six, defeating Clark Fork 68-20 Friday night.
Priest River (6-0) had three players in double figures and were led by sophomore Tyler Douglas, who scored a game-high 16 points, including four three-point shots.
"Our big guns deferred more tonight and made the extra pass," said Priest River coach Ryan Bodecker. "Tyler had a break-out game and we never let up defensively."
The Wampus Cats (1-5) were led by senior Jared Broggi, who scored 11 points to go along with six rebounds.
"I thought we didn't give up," Clark Fork coach Melvin Speelmon said. "You play up in classification for a reason. Priest River always has a good program and it helps us iron everything out."
Clark Fork travels to Timberlake on Tuesday. Priest River hosts Bonners Ferry on Thursday.
