SANDPOINT — Kama Griffitts scored a game high 11 points to lead three Vikings in double figures, and No.1 ranked Coeur d’Alene held Sandpoint to three second half points en route to a 64-14 win in Inland Empire League action Tuesday night at Les Rogers Court.

Carli Rosenthal and Kelsi DeHaas each added 10 for the Vikings (14-0, 6-0 IEL), who held Sandpoint scoreless in the fourth quarter of a game that was never close.

Christina Johnson had five points to lead the Bulldogs (1-12, 0-6), whose strides of late weren’t readily apparent against one of the top teams in the Northwest, let alone Idaho. Lorna Heer had a few nice shot blocks, against a much taller team, and Charissa Chatburn drilled a 3-pointer at the buzzer to provide the highlights in defeat.

Sandpoint hosts Post Falls, another IEL powerhouse, on Thursday.
