CLARK FORK — Tyler Broggi scored a game-high 16 points, and Chase Chowning had a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds, but it wasn’t enough as host Clark Fork fell 61-33 to Timberlake in nonleague action Tuesday.

The Cats (1-6) hung around in the first half, but Timberlake (3-6) scored 23 points in the third quarter to break the game open.

“We came out with a lot of intensity. I though Pat Young did a nice job running the offense and controlling the flow,” said Cats coach Melvin Speelmon. “We sort of got away from that in the second half. Even though he didn’t score, Pat played a great game.”

Clark Fork is at Coeur d’Alene Charter on Thursday.
