Wallace boys down Clark Fork

CLARK FORK - Jared Broggi scored eight points and grabbed 14 rebounds, but the host Wampus Cats had a tough night offensively, falling 54-31 in their North Star League opener against Wallace.

Stillman Berkley added eight points and got high praise from his coach after the game.

"He's a freshman and he started his first game," said Cats coach Melvin Speelmon of Berkley. "He worked really hard on defense and played well."

Jared Bilaski scored 20, and Nick Arthun added 14 to lead Wallace (5-4, 3-0 NSL).

Clark Fork hosts Kootenai on Thursday.
