SANDPOINT - The Sandpoint girls played their best half of the season in IEL action against Lewiston, but it wasn't enough, as the Bengals prevailed 57-28 Friday night at Les Rogers Court.

Jenny Thomas, who finished with a team-high nine points, Charissa Chatburn and Jesse Mead all hit 3-pointers in the first half as the Bulldogs (2-16, 0-8 IEL) trailed 33-20 heading into the locker room. Mead's 3-pointer came from 25 feet out at the first half buzzer, as the Bulldogs demonstrated their best ball movement of the season in defeat.
