August Craig Felando, 59

August Craig Felando, 59, passed away peacefully at home with his wife, family and friends by his side on Jan. 21, 2009.

August lived and loved with more commitment to passion than anyone I have ever known.

Since meeting and marrying him, my beautiful, beautiful man, I have known sheer bliss. Everything he did in life was to benefit another human being in any great or small way.

What will I ever do without him (?) except to write poetry in his honor.

He is survived by dear, dear family and friends too numerous to mention. We knew him. You should have. You have survived him. Now make it real!

A memorial Mass will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, 2009, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Father Dennis Day officiating. There will be a reception following in the church social room.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bonner Community Hospice, P. O. Box 1448, Sandpoint, Idaho  83864.
